Interesting Video on Anza-Borrego Wildflowers from KPBS
Their video compression leaves a little to be desired, but it is a good introduction to the world of desert wildflowers we have here at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. From March, 2010.

Thanks for sharing this. I’m surprised they didn’t talk about the invasive sahara mustard, but maybe that would be bad for tourism. Hopefully the rest of the fields will bloom in the next few weeks.

Nice little intro to the wildflowers, thanks for posting it! I hope to get out there this year to see them.
Great video! My hiking calendar is already booked this weekend, but I’m hoping to make it out to AB next weekend (if work doesn’t send me to Abu Dhabi).
I say this every year (mostly to myself), but I’ve got to get out there this year. Thanks.
Thanks for the comments. I plan on being out there several times before the end of March, but I am not sure how much time will be spent on the valley floor, as I have peaks to summit.
Scott, I was thinking the exact same thing about sahara mustard, since it seems to have changed the wildflower landscape significantly, but PR is PR and they need to promote the park as much as they can, since times are very lean for our state parks and this is their high season.
