Down that hole and back again...

In early February, we were able to go back to NYC, but this time we brought Solo and McD.

On the first day, we took the subway to Battery Park and then the ferry over to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty. The temperature was in the low 20's and the wind was chilling to the bone. Taking it easy at night, we hung out in the lounge downstairs and listened to the piano player.

On the second day, we had lunch with family and friends and took long a walk downtown and went to the Phantom of the Opera. For dinner, we went back to the Carnegie Deli. This time, we knew to order a bit less.

On the third day, we walked around downtown, to St Patrick's Cathedral, and to Central Park.

That night, we went to the Metropolitan Opera House and saw the Czech opera Jenufa, which was a lot of fun. Afterwards, we went back to the lounge downstairs and hung out, listening to the piano player and enjoying wine and food.
